"The apartment was lovely with gorgeous views of the valley and a nice balcony. The dimensions of the rooms were perfect and well laid out. Our host Gudrun was very kind and laid back in a positive way. We were late arriving due to train delays and perhaps a bit frazzled and it was so nice to interact with someone cheerful and relaxed. "Good sized room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Just a few minutes walk to the old city center, which was perfect to view the Christmas decorations and Christmas markets. We didn’t swim, but the pool would be a great plus in summer. Staff was efficient, although not overly friendly. Decor in room was nothing special, but overall, the hotel was good value for the money."

"The property was fit for purpose. We used it just to have a place to sleep and visit Freiburg and surroundings. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very small for 2 people and their luggage (2 had fairly sizeable suitcases, since we were spending 3 weeks in Europe)."
