"Slept so well in this quiet retreat in older part of town. On warmer days feel like sitting outside with the large sliding door open. Apartment appointed with anything you might need. Nearby pharmacy, bank, Casino and cafe and brasserie and restaurants within 1 km walk. Good takeaway kebab just steps out the door. Lovely market and easy town to use as base for visiting Lot and Cele area with many medieval towns, Peche Merle, etc. Would stay afain anytime back in this area."

"Refuge au calme, au milieu de la pierre et du bois, des oiseaux, chauves souris et escargots, à proximité immédiate de la rivière domptée mais encore sauvage. Avec un jacuzzi certes gonflable et non en résine, mais quasiment parfait sous le ciel. Découverte, nature, préhistoire et histoire, détente et gens pas stressés et sympas, en plein parc naturel classé UNESCO mondial, à juste titre. What else ?"

"Sylvaine and Patrick were generous and helpful hosts, Patrick helping me with a puncture and Sylvaine giving us home-made jam, garden tomatoes and eggs from her own chickens. During a heatwave, the interior was always cool and the pool was large, clean and indispensable after a day of adventures. It’s hard to imagine a lovelier gîte, or nicer people."

"We loved our stay. The Gite was immaculate and very well equipped. Everything we needed was a 10 minute drive away so it was very convenient. We spent most of the week relaxing by the pool. "My family and I had the most wonderful time staying at Birdie’s home. We were welcomed in by Birdie as if we were long family friends - Birdie had been extremely accommodating with our arrival times and delays etc. Birdie’s home was full of character, adorned with pictures of her family, with a fully stocked kitchen, games to play, and everything else we could need. "Really lovely owners - very helpful. Nice little village with a boulangerie (and pizza van once a week which we used enthusiastically!). The house was perfect for our requirements (husband/ wife and adult sons and their girlfriends). It had everything we needed. The pool was lovely - particularly when 40 degs in week 1. And lots of trips out to various villages in the Lot and Dordogne. Highly recommend."

"The hameau is a wonderfully tranquil place, the house was exactly as pictured and well equipped, the gardens and pool were delightful and well maintained. Fabienne and Olivier were friendly, responsive, discreet hosts whose english was far better than our french will ever be! The two nearest towns Figeac; the larger; and Cajarc have all you need and plenty of good restaurants, Figeac has a very good market. Our only slight regret was the distance to food shops even a boulangerie required a car...
