"Cute Dutch colonial-style hotel within easy walking distance of Smith College. A bit farther to downtown Northampton, but still doable. The rooms were clean and looked recently updated. Reasonable prices - would stay here again. "

"This is a charming inn at the edge of Lenox downtown which is a great vallue for off season pre Tanglewood! My friend and I each had separate individually decorated queen rooms with hot shower; we had a large cooked-on-the spot breakfast which included very fresh fruit bowl; restaurant and museum recommendations were generous and accurate; there are three public rooms which are delightful for "hangout" time, and summer will also feature large porch and ground level deck. "

"Our room was beautiful and very clean. Loved the four poster bed, the white and blue toile wallpaper, and the numerous windows. The bedroom and bathroom were both a very good size. The continental breakfast offered a selection of coffees and a delicious assortment of breakfast breads, scones and bagels. The sitting room is very charming. Enjoyed our stay and will be returning. "We had a great stay at The Lakehouse Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted with a beverage and brownies. Our room was lovely, the new gas fireplace was a bonus. And the breakfast was out of this world! "It's a boutique B&B place with 5 rooms with great interior decoration. Brad, the owner has an innate focus for details, which shows up in his communications and design of the property and room, including the naming of the inn (Wilder Oak is the name of his 3 years old son...). Brad is relatively new in the hospitality industry, but his intentions and mannerism are just right for the place. He cooks breakfast for guests in the weekend; design of the menue card and breakfast choices are just right...

"The host Heidi was friendly and fun to talk with at breakfast (I was travelling alone). She knows a lot about the area and history which was nice to hear. The house was quiet and clean and I'd stay here again."
