"Staying in and among buildings in a village settled in 1067, clinging to a steep mountain wall, seemed to connect us deeply to the history and geography of South France. Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."

De la nature à perte de vue. Idéal pour se ressourcer et se déconnecter sans être totalement coupé du monde (attention point de Wi-Fi mais il y a de la 4G!). En cas de besoin, les habitants du hameau sauront vous aider et sympathique marché les vendredis à Campestre."

"Hier passt alles. Die Ferienwohnung hat alles, was man braucht. Ruhige Lage, schöner großer Pool. André ist ein wirklich sehr netter Gastgeber. Im Ort Aumessas gibt es einiges zu sehen und gute Pizza (zum Abholen). Es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Cevennen. Zum Einkaufen muss man auch nicht weit fahren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Merci beaucoup!"

"We (2 adults, 1 child) stayed at the Gite d’Emma for a very hot week in August. The gite is very modern and very well equipped with everything you could need. The air conditioning unit was incredible and much needed - and kept everyone cool during the heat. The outdoor kitchen is fabulous as is the balcony with beautiful views. "The gite is well equipped and is good sized for a couple. The two stand-outs for me were: The picture south-facing window, so had wonderful light and an incredible view that changed through the day: The downstairs bedroom which stayed cool even with 30c days. It's great location to explore the Cevennes and further south into the Herault. The area is astonishing and should be better known. The roads are almost deserted and no destination I went to felt crowded. I went wild swimming in deserted...
