"This was a great cottage to base yourself in the Cotswold’s. The two minute walk to the village was a great feature of this cottage as well as the parking spot. I enjoyed the fire and the beautiful surrounds. I would recommend a stay. "

"The stone cottage was perfect for 3 of us. We spent most of our days in Oxford, and this was lovely to come home to. Neat cafe up the road to grab breakfast and coffee from. Shops/restaurants/pubs are also nearby."

"We truly loved the area. The house was well equipped. Nice neighborhood. Clean kitchen, bathroom comfortable beds. Only thing, the downstairs carpet sure needs to be changed and I didn’t get check in instructions on time. Had to find the phone number in the app and call host to get check in instructions. "Elm Bank is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location in Lower Swell. The listing is accurate, if anything the pictures do not quite show you how large the cottage is. We were more than comfortable as a group of six adults. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, the fridge is expansive, and there's plenty of storage for food and other necessities. "Wendle Cottage is convenient, the property manager goes out of his way to help guests with any problems, the cottage itself is old but has a fairly new kitchen. It would have been nice to have a French press as there is only a pod type coffee maker. Other reviews have addressed the staircase and they are correct. It’s very steep and needs the handrails. It’s very close to the major grocery store and train. Would recommend cottage for it’s convenience to all of the Cotswolds."

"Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Needed a play to stay that wasnt too expensive and this ticked the box. Tea and coffee facilities and hand and shower gel in the room. Towels were plentiful and extra pillows also available in the room. A later checkout would make the stay even better. We were out and about so only spent a small amount of time in the room. We walked into moreton in marsh which wasnt too far, about half an hour."
