There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"A very nice hotel in the center of Varna. There are many dining options nearby and the hotel itself has a restaurant and bar as well. The breakfast buffet is great and provides lot's of different options, both sweet and savoury. The rooms are rather large and fitted with air conditioners. I will definitely visit again."

"It was a beautiful hotel with a spectacular view. It was across the street from the beach and a ton of restaurants, shops, bars (one of them is an Eiffel Tower, carnival rides, ect. The noise from all that goes on until 3AM. That’s not a complaint. If you are across from all that you should expect noise. I mention it to suggest packing ear plugs. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It was very clean. We splurged for a balcony and I’m so glad we did. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable!! It had everything you could possibly imagine and it was delicious. The other bonus was free parking. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. "
