"The location near Vestrahorn mountain was great - the night we stayed, the sky was clear and we got fantastic views of the northern lights. The stay included free entry to the Viking Village and Stokksnes black sand beach (which was one of the nicer beaches we saw on our trip). The room was simple and not huge, but it was very new and clean. It was perfect for our needs. A simple breakfast at the café was included with the room, but we opted to also get the waffles and they were terrific. "

"This was a cool place. Simple, cool clean lines. The units have a black exterior to match the general Icelandic vibe / volcanic roots and culture. The kitchenette with a fridge and little hot plate type set up seems like it would be useful. If you go to Höfn for dinner, Otto Matur and Drykkur was amazing, cute, quaint. The big picture window allowed for a beautiful view of the mountains and glacier, would have been nice had the northern lights been visible too. It’s about 30 minutes to...
