"Excellent apartment hotel. I've stayed at other Locke hotels before and they all share a similar design, merging elements of a smart apartment hotel, or a cool hostel, together with the sort of slightly pricey on-site bars/restaurants you might get in a 5-star hotel. Lobby area is a bit underwhelming here but good facilities overall. I believed I received a free upgrade due to Expedia membership, to an impressive 2-room apartment. "A bizarre experience… Wasn’t able to actually stay at this property as I never received check-in instructions from the host. Unfortunately the host read and ignored my messages and emails as well as communications from the property manager (they weren’t much help either), for reasons unknown. Luckily hotels.com stepped in and gave me a full refund + a voucher for compensation."

"This is a lovely Aparthotel in a great location in Cambridge. Only downside is the noise from the road. I advise guests to bring earplugs or even better, supplied by the hotel. Some noise also from banging doors in the corridor. A coffeemaker is provided in the room, but only with 2 capsules and no fresh milk available."
