Frederick Stearns House Historic Inn
4.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (61)
"My wife and I and another couple spent two nights at the Frederic Stearns House and found it to be excellent. Spacious, clean rooms and an inviting ambiance. The historic nature of the Home added to a wonderful experience. Our host, Rachel, was gracious, most helpful, and we loved her cookies. If there is a higher rating than 5 stars, Rachel and the Frederic Stearns House deserve it. Highly recommended. Peter & Shirley, Canyon Lake, Texas"

"Our room was spacious and clean. The parking spot was right next to our room. The inn's location is nice, close to downtown. Founders Brewing is also close by. We felt safe. The icing on the cake was Mona's hospitality. She was always available and willing to please. Her breakfasts were delicious. Lots to do in Detroit. We'll be back."

Sonder Gabriel Richard
3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (985)
"The view was great of the city. We love having a living room and bedrooms. Something had been spilled by/under the couch and was never cleaned up. The pullout couch had food in it when we pulled it out. Things were a little dated or well-used, but overall, for the price and convenience, it was fine. "

"There was a used razer left in the shower, and it just looked like it wasn't wiped down in the shower. There was also some silverware that still had hard food stuck on them from previous person, and the actual buildings hallways to the room smelled like a urinal cake, but other than that it was a pleasant stay for us. We spent a lot of our time out exploring the city outside. I would definitely stay here again if we came to that part of Detroit. I just wanted to give you some honest feedback...
