"We throughly enjoyed our three nights in Anke's cottage. It provided a great base to explore Strasbourg and the Alsace region. The cottage itself is cozy and enchanting, located on the grounds of a larger chatelet. Anke and her husband Eric were welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend!"

"Un gîte cosy très agréable pour toute la famille. Nous sommes venus y passer Noël : le sapin était fait et une jolie crèche mise en scène complétait la décoration. Des voisins de bon conseil nous ont permis de trouver de bons petits plats chez les commerçants du coin. La proximité de la belle ville d’Obernai est également un atout. Un bien joli séjour, à renouveler dès que possible…"

"The gite was tastefully decorated and had all the equipment you need. We visited in a heat wave and the gite was nice and cool and a has a huge bathroom / walk in shower. Lovely terrace outside which gives privacy from neighbours. Matthieu lives opposite and was on hand for anything we needed but not at all intrusive. Also lots of lovely forests nearby to walk or cycle in and it's near enough to the German border to easily have a day in Germany."

"We loved everything about our stay this week - the house was decorated so sweetly and they even had a Christmas tree up! The location was perfect, not far to Strasbourg at all - and it’s in the cutest little town.We have been spoiled by the towel warmers in the bathrooms and the super comfortable beds. The hosts gave us several suggestions on where to go/eat and even let us practice speaking French with them (sorry!). We will definitely be coming back to stay here again, would love to see the...

"Mein Mann und ich waren für ein paar ruhige Tage mit unserer kleinen Hündin in dem süßen kleinen Ferienhaus zu Besuch. Wir wollten mal in Ruhe abschalten, lesen und relaxen. Es war perfekt!! Noch nie hatten wir eine solche Einweisung und liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail ausgearbeitete Informationen zum Haus und allen Möglichkeiten. Der Kamin hat für uns den Wohlfühlfaktor noch maximiert. Vielen Dank!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Clean and well-equipped for a family vacation. Located in a quiet, charming village close to Strasbourg (about 35 minutes from the park and ride). The village restaurant, within walking distance from the property, was also a great place to eat (note: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). The host was helpful and knowledgeable about the area."

"Het huisje is ruim, schoon en heel volledig en de tuin ook heel verzorgd. De eigenaresse zorgde voor een heel fijn welkom en verblijf en alles was goed geregeld. De omgeving is prachtig, wel wat afgelegen."

"Really nice location with a great view. Some utilities upgrade would be welcomed - iron board but no iron. No large knives, just three tiny ones to cut (good luck with Watermon). Swimming pool amazing and clean. Pascale very welcoming. Badminton racquets could also be replaced, as all had snapped strings. Not too far away from Vin de Alsace route - half an hour drive.."

"Accueil très chaleureux par nos hôtes. Le gîte est spacieux et confortable. Le réa de chaussée reste bien frais même en cas de grande chaleur, ce qui est également très appréciable. "This property lacks nothing - spacious, comfortable with everything you could ever need for a fabulous stay. The views of the deer each morning are delightful and Twix and Bounty (sheep which look like goats in the field) are lovely and will delight your children. M, and Mme Burger were very welcoming and hospitable and made every effort to make sure we had all information we needed. "We called it our Handel and Gretel place the accommodation was just what we had been looking for as my wife has walking difficulties the owners were great nothing was to much trouble we was sorry to have to leave 1 day early due to a problem at home but we definitely will be going back again Plenty of places to get your shopping or in my case for the wife and daughter to spend money, we found some excellent restaurants off the beaten track that served the local food and nice and cool in the...

"Alte Sandsteinmauern, dicke Balken und darin eine moderne, sehr individuell eingerichtete großzügige Wohnung. Der Garten auch im Herbst wunderbar, ländliche Beete, Rasen, ein kleiner Teich, geschützte Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Dorf liegt mitten im Elsass und ist trotzdem untouristisch und sehr ruhig. Alles gut erreichbar. Und schließlich die Vermieterin, Gaelle, und ihr Mann: diskret, aber im Nachbarhaus immer erreichbar, überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ein idealer Urlaubsort! "

"We stayed here for visiting the Christmas Market in Strasbourg. The accommodation is even better than the pictures show. Matthieu is a great host, very friendly and had a lot of tips regarding Christmas Markets in Alsace. Thanks again for the great hospitality, we enjoyed every minute of it."
