"The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia."

"Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were the perfect size for our group. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. "This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "
