"We had not received any communication from the property until the morning we flew to Bari. Not knowing whether we had antwhere to stay that night, we booked another accommodation. The property owners said that not confirming details until their guests had begun their journey was perfectly acceptable and refused to refund any money. It subsequently came to light that the contact details they had lodged with Expedia were wrong so we were unable to contact them by phone or email. Not entirely...

"It is on the second floor. There are atairs but of course if you want to be in the old town with a lovely view of the streets this is generally the case. Great shower great airconditioning. Two things I always think is important. The bedrooms are separate from the bathroom but it's not really a problem. Great location. You are in the middle of the beautiful old town. Antonio and Stella were attentive and easy to contact. We enjoyed our short stay. Thank you."

"We found our home in Bari for 4 nights. We chose this apartment to be around the local community. We found it safe, authentic and unpretentious. The apartment is safe . The door is too safe and it required skill and patience to open it. Really triple locked. "We had a very nice stay in Bari at the Tresca Charme rooms. The host Francesco was wonderful he met us outside the accommodation, carried our suitcases up the stairs and left a lovely bottle of wine. The location is amazing close to old town and not far from harbour and city centre. It was quite hot but the aircon worked well and we made use of the patio in the late evening."

"The property is stellar. To make things easier on yourself, immediately download the app called Easy Park. This property is located on a pedestrian passage and there is no parking on it. We were able to find a parking place just two blocks away. Take a photo of the parking sign as well as the license plate of your rental car if you have one. The location of the property is all you could wish for and the host is helpful and has furnished it with anything you may need. Great place to stay."
