"If you're looking for a simple place to stay this place is wonderful. 4km from the main road in amongst the hills of Tuscany. The villa is clean and simple. The owners were very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom very clean and new. We lacked a kettle or large mugs in the kitchen but boiled water in a pan and had brought some plastic cups with us as we are avid tea drinkers but tea is not so readily found here. "Daniela was a gracious host and was very responsive to our texts on WhatsApp before we arrived. She also met us and let us into the apartment, which was very helpful. Her clean, well-stocked, adorable apartment is on the 3rd floor and the elevator right next door was very convenient for heavy suitcases. "We were blown away by our stay at Lorella’s beautiful guest cottage in Manarola overlooking the Ligurian sea, Manarola village and mountain vineyards! Lorella was the consummate host to welcome us to her home and village and to explain trails and restaurants nearby. It was a perfect space for a couple. "Nice apartment - at the top of Manarola so be prepared to walk up hill. The photos of the apartment show a nice deck with chairs - which was the main reason we chose to rent here - unfortunately, there is no deck at all. Pretty view of the ocean and village if you lean out the windows, but no outdoor space at all. That was pretty disappointing. Everything worked in the place and it was clean."
