"The communication with Andriy was excellent. We recieved a nice detailed note with everything we might need to know about our stay. VRBO had served us this stay when we did a filtered search for places with a hot tub and we saw one in the pictures. When we found the tub empty, we reached out to ask how to set it up, only to be informed that it didn't work. Andriy explained that they had never listed it as an amenity, and generously offered us a partial refund. I was grateful for the sincerity and transparency of the interaction. The place was very clean when we arrived. The sofa is not terribly comfortable, especially as a bed, but it was good enough. The proper bed was super comfy and what a treat it was to wake up to the gorgeous view over the lake. The grey decor felt quite out of place for a lakefront cabin, but the plaid blanket and cushions helped. My one big suggestion for the interior would be lamps: the ceiling full of undimable cool white pot lights was way too bright for my friend and me, and while we did figure out a solution for a comfortable light level, it wasn't great. The kitchen was also well-appointed, other than lacking a ladle, and having a dishwasher was so so appreciated! Finally, the location and setting are truly wonderful. Easy to access, super quiet, gorgeous lake views, animals and their tracks. I would absolutely recommend staying here and as long as you're not expecting cottage vibes, you'll be happy."

"Our family (5 adults, 3 kids and a dog) rented the cottage for New Years Eve! It was amazing! Easy to get to, and had everything we possibly could need! "Staying at the Lake House was truly an exceptional experience for our family! We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this one provided by far the very best combination of layout, location and amenities. Cathy & Jeff truly exemplified “pride of ownership” by providing absolutely anything and everything one could possibly imagine visitors would desire while staying in their beautifully maintained home. Our family gathering was an opportunity to spend quality time together unwinding, reconnecting and doing a lot of cooking! At every turn, Cathy & Jeff’s home provided a truly seamless experience. From the smallest details, such as a fully loaded spice rack, to a wide variety of outdoor seating areas, we could have spent a month and rarely used the same area twice. Right from the arrival, the Lake House was exactly what we had all imagined as the ideal “Lakefront Cottage”. Elegant and well maintained, sitting on a lovely waterfront parcel of wooded land. The setting was idyllic in everyway. Inside, the bedrooms were large, well appointed, meticulously clean and elegantly decorated with the perfect blend of “Lake House” vibe, without the tacky or kitsch – no singing bass over the fireplace or book shelves made to look like a canoe. Communication with the owners, instructions on equipment use and space were smooth and always hospitable. We don’t want to give too much away, but suffice it to say this home is exceptional in so many ways and we are already planning our return."

"The cottage was exactly as advertised - it's a beautiful, spacious, luxurious getaway. The property and cottage are both well maintained, with lots of room for guests, and lots of space to rest and relax. The hot tub, outdoor eating, deck space, and gazebo gave us lots of room to enjoy and the indoors is modern, beautifully decorated, and very spacious to host guests. Owners were very responsive, helpful, checked in during our stay, and provided easy instructions for arrival and departure. We have recommended this property to others and will definitely go back. "
