"We loved our stay at this property. It was a special family time for us and we enjoyed it immensely. The house and pool and gardens were charming and perfect. It was very easy to use the kitchen and bathroom. The owner is wonderful and he took us on a bee keeping expedition to see his hives, which was an absolute highlight for us. I recommend this property most highly."

"This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."

"What a wonderful place to get together with our extended family. The pool was spotless, kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to have time out if needed. The showers in some of the rooms are not for the curvier body, as very narrow entrances, but there's enough other showers in the house, so not a problem. The jacuzzi was not working for our visit, sadly, but the indoor pool was a bonus. There was plenty to do in the house if the weather was bad, and lots of exploring to be done. It's a 25...

"We could not have asked for more. The house was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It didn't disappoint at all. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. The location was perfect for a relaxing break. So peaceful and yet only a short drive to amenities and places to visit. "We had an excellent fortnight in this beautiful house. The terrace and pool were particularly welcome as we were there during the 2022 heatwave. The house is well placed for visits to Provence, the Ardeche and Montpellier, as well as Uzes and Nimes. Note that the house does have fans in the bedrooms (despite what an earlier review says). Mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance but kept reasonably at bay with a coil on the terrace and plug ins at night. Overall I would strongly recommend this...

"Well, what a wonderful house. It's well equipped, the pool is great and fenced off so we new the children/baby were safe. It's in a peaceful location and the little village is in walking distance so we could get our daily bread supply and also the pharmacy was useful. Any big food shopping was done a five minute drive away in St. Paul Trois Chateaux. Overall I would recommend this house for a great family/friends holiday."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Villa, with a heated pool for the children (two girls aged 9 and 12), ping pong table and boule for entertainment. An outdoor grill, table outside (and in), parking is easy, lovely trails for running recommended by Paul. The villa is close to the town, just a short walk (15 mins downhill), where you have lovely boutique shops and restaurants. We also booked a canyoning trip. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Paul for being a great host."
