Welcome to Sea Colony. Our rental unit has a HomeAvay verified address, your rental accommodations include: Three Bedrooms and a pull out queen size sleeper (will accommodate 8 people). Two full bathrooms upstairs and a powder room downstairs means no lines! Beach chairs and sand toys are available so you don't have to bring them. There are 4 televisions, plenty of movies (DVD and VHS), boardgames and a Sony Playstaion for the kids.

Since 1972 Sea Colony has earned its reputation for being a safe and pleasant community that provides a high quality resort experience for owners, guests and vacationers. All this located in a beach & tennis community surrounded by picturesque lakes and lush landscaping.

Sea Colony owners and guests also have access to some wonderful amenities; a ½ mile private beach, 12 pools to lounge from, 34 tennis courts and Tennis Center for lessons or clinics, and a 17,000 square foot fitness and aquatics center.

Sea Colony also offers family-friendly and exclusive activities, camps and entertainment for kids of all ages. Including: Club Sea Colony, Junior Lifeguards, Swim Meet Money Hunt, Bingo, Kids Night out, Fitastic Kids, Starfish Soccer, Kickball, Capture the flag, Dodge Ball, Junior Tennis, Sand Castle Contest, Bonfire on the Beach. Perfect family beach trip!

Great location
First time in Sea Colony and it was great - midway between all the beach towns and very convenient to the beach with the tram. Kids loved all the pools. Roy was incredibly helpful and responsive.

Fantastic first time experience with HomeAway!
The property was very nice in a quiet community with close access to the pool and a tram running all day to the beach. The fitness center was also great. The best part was the communication with the owner.

My family and I stayed he...
My family and I stayed here and it was awesome. I couldn't believe how clean and family friendly it was! We didn't even have to bring toys/entertainment for the kids. Roy had everything there. Thanks so much for a great vacation!

Another wonderful stay. House is always very clean and has lots of amenities that make it comfortable for families with young kids (gates for steps, toy box etc). Short walk to one of the outdoor heated pools. Nothing but positives to say. We will be back again and again!

This townhome is perfectly located in SeaColony. I found the house to actually be more spacious than the pictures show online. The owner is super attentive and proactive with connecting prior to your stay and was available for any questions that we had. The home was stocked with everything that we needed with plenty of toys/games for the kids.

Wonderful!!
We really enjoyed our stay at sea colony despite the weather. Roy is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Our 18 month old grandson and his parents joined us for 3 days. They really appreciated all of the amenities for young children. The townhouse was very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend vacationing here.

Perfect for families
We decided to book a mini-getaway last minute and Roy was very accommodating and readily available to answer any questions we had. The house was spacious for the seven of us ... and I loved that Roy offered linens/towels at no added cost. He even had beach toys and tennis equipment, which we certainly appreciated not having to pack and bring along. If you’re looking for a place to stay with the family, this is it! Thanks again!!

Amazing stay!
We had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to next year! Roy was responsive, kind, and super easy to work with. The house was perfect and we especially appreciated the wonderful kid items: a large bin of indoor toys, beach toys, toddler bed rails, a high chair, and a pack and play. We loved that linens, towels, and some paper and cleaning supplies were provided. Sea Colony is amazing and we greatly enjoyed the beach, pools, and tennis courts. The off season is a perfect time to go to Bethany. No crowds, beautiful weather, and warm water at the beach. I highly recommend this property.

Love Sea Colony!
Excellent stay as always! Roy is so accommodating! The house has everything you need and plenty of space for 8 of us! It's so convenient to the large pool as well as the tram stop. The only reason it's not 5 stars, is because it was difficult to use Wifi. If that's important to you, it's something to consider. We did reach out to Roy and he was to contact the internet co. Other than that, perfect!

Everything you need and more
This house was wonderful for a family with young children (or anyone for that matter). Everything you need is there--from beach chairs/umbrellas to kids toys to board games to kitchen/laundry supplies and more. The owner Roy went out of his way to accommodate us and could not have been a more gracious host. He was always accessible and replied within minutes to questions. The property was super convenient--the Sea Colony tram stop was steps from the house. And the extras for little kids--such as bedrails and a gate at the top of the stairs--made the trip extra easy. I look forward to staying here again!

This was a great property to rent for our family!
The overall property was clean, neat, and quiet with plenty of toys and safety items for our 3 children. It was great not having to bring sheets and towels to the property plus the owner makes available plenty of beach items for your use. The amenities of Sea Colony are perfect for a family and the owner's information prior to our arrival of all the activities available during our specific stay helped in our planning. We took advantage of the free open air trolley to the beach and to one of the many pools on the property. The fitness center was very clean and neat too, and I used it everyday of my stay. We loved our stay and the owner was fantastic to work with. He really helped us get settled in and took care to make our stay fantastic. I will definitely rent this property again for our family of five for a future beach stay.

Great stay
This rental home is very spacious with 3 nicely sized bedrooms upstairs and an additional room which is basically the hallway turned into a TV room with playstation hookup. Downstairs has a nice layout with ample space to move around and comfortable sofas. Kitchen has everything you need including a Keurig coffee machine (and regular machine) and a toaster oven. The house has lots of children amenities like high chair, optional bed rails, gate and lots of children videos and toys. My little one loved to play with 'new toys' and didn't even look at the ones we brought in. Roy is very responsive and attentive to his guest. From all of the rentals we have been in he has been communicating the most and in a very pleasant way. Can only recommend this property.

This property has all the comforts of home.
This was a spacious townhouse with all the comforts of home. The owner, Roy Low, was accessible by text, email, & phone. He was patient and answered all our questions, usually within minutes. He also provided many extras such as sheets, towels, movies, games, toys, a pack'n play, etc. You really could travel light because so much was provided. We went during the off peak season and had some sunny days as well as rainy days. However, Sea Colony has plenty of activities to offer both indoors and outdoors. Trams were not running during our stay, but it's a short drive to Bethany Beach and even Ocean City was only about 15 or 20 minutes away. Roy was a gracious host, and is interested in introducing people to a place he loves. He truly provided us with a "home away from home." If you have an opportunity to visit, I would highly recommend this property!

Children will love this place
We enjoyed our stay at Sea Colony and Roy's townhouse. Roy was generous enough to let us stay with a 2 year old! There are plenty of toys, games and books for the entire family. Parents leave your toys at home. There are beach chairs, sand pails, shovels and even boogie boards for the ocean. The nice amenity about Sea Colony is most of the swimming pools come with kiddie pools which is a big help with the toddler group. Additionally, my son loved riding the tram to the beach. He woke up every morning looking for the train. Roy's home has three bedrooms on the upstairs level which makes it easier for families with young children to have the bedrooms on one level. The stairs are carpeted and does come with gates if you need to block stairway access. There is a high chair in the garage that can be used for meals at home. My husband said the Wi-Fi connection was excellent as he used the connection to login for work a few times. Roy kept in contact with us during our stay and we appreciated the extra attention.

Nice place with textile deficiencies
When we arrived, all the bed sheets were heaped on the floor in front all of the washer but had not been washed. We had to launder all and make the beds and there was very little laundry soap available. All the bath towels were also piled on the floor and had not been washed. I reported these issues to Roy and he apologized and graciously processed an adjustment to compensate us for the trouble and sent a cleaning crew the next day which was not necessary because we had already washed the sheets and towels. There were only 6 bath towels in the unit so if you come with a large group, you may want to bring extra towels. The unit did not provide any hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen wash cloths or towels. Other than the laundry issues and lack of textiles, most other aspects of the unit were nice and we enjoyed our stay after working through the initial challenges.

Excellent Stay at Roy's
Having been to Bethany Beach several times & having driven through Sea Colony a lot too, it was amazing to learn how great an experience in Sea Colony could be. The tram to & from the house with ALL the beach gear kept our car sand free. And there was no need to bring any gear from home ... beach umbrellas & chairs are Tommy Bahama branded and are really good quality. (I'd say just bring beach towels & a cooler if you pick Roy's). The tram & not having to pay for parking also helps to justify the $35 / person amenity fee ... it's optional but goofing around at the tennis courts, pools, and so many other great features of Sea Colony is so worth it. In other words: I believe the fees & the badge you get are required for some aspects like the courts, pools?, the beach bonfire & bingo every week; but for 4 people (a car load) that $140 is easily what you'd pay if you didn't have easy transportation like the tram. Staff at Sea Colony is also amazing. As for Roy's home, it's ideal. There were legos for my son. Board games for all of us. TVs were accompanied by Wii, Playstation, DVD players, and were in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. WiFi was easy to set up -- and using our Apple TV was a breeze. Bath towels, linens and use of a real large capacity washer / dryer mean you can ditch some of the wardrobe you bring too. The living room, dining room, kitchen area is very open and spacious. (At least 2 nights my kids opted to sleep on those couches.) The kitchen is also great, 2 coffee machines -- one is Keurig, a Margaritaville Blender (Google it if you've never seen a machine like that), plenty of pots, pans, dishes & cooking equipment. And a grill we didn't use. The kitchen table is big enough for 6 but easily converts to a 4 seater for cards. And the dishwasher worked great too. If I were staying there again, I'd think we'd pack less clothes, less beach stuff & a bigger cooler. But maybe the best part of our stay in a total stranger's house was how great Roy is as a host. Communication and easy going attitude as well as super informative updates and emails to confirm his cell number and welcome us on the day arrival took a ton of stress out of the whole experience. I honestly don't know where we're going on vacation next summer, but this is the benchmark & if it can't beat staying at Roy's we're there. (I also like HomeAway & the way it works to organize info after you've booked and the way it stores documents you'll need/want at check in.
