"The hotel was very clean and comfortable the door codes are a good idea but can be a bit tricky when you are loaded down with luggage. It is the first hotel we have stayed at with no reception or any evidence of someone being there in case of emergency but it seems to work ok. DIY breakfast was also new to us but once we had found the kitchen which was spotless everything fell into place. A couple of minor moans would be some extra bedding would have been useful as the duvet was rather thin. The...

"We had a lovely two night stay in this delightful B&B. Iain and Anna were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. It is clean, warm and homely with all of the extras and facilities you would expect from a hotel stay. I would recommend this place and would stay again!"

"Fabulous value for the size of room.We have stayed here many times when visiting family in Retford. Our room this time was a little disappointing compared to all the other rooms we stayed in.The bed was a double but we only had a single wardrobe and 5 hangers.Usually there is ample wardrobe space and a seating area.I will definitely return but will ask for the rooms we've had on previous visits. It is a very comfortable place to stsy and handy for walking into town."
