Serge and his wife have performed a very careful renovation of the castle, in which you wouldn't find anything misplaced, but at the same time, you get all the commodities needed. Great breakfast. "This is a well equipped new house with en-suite bath/shower rooms to every bedroom. The area is quite beautiful and we enjoyed trips into Bessines-sur-Gartempe, and all the lovely lakes around. We were seven of us for most of the time and there was plenty of room and facilities for us. Although we were happy here and had a wonderful time there were a couple of gripes. We did not find the spiral staircase that easy for access to the upstairs and particularly to take our luggage up and down. The...
