"Nice hotel, excellent restaurant."

"Hotel on main drag in town so a little noisy with car traffic until late evening. We upgraded the room when we booked, so there was plenty of space. Bed was hard ish but that’s most German beds.Very clean room and bathroom , plus double sinks. We had a river view beyond the street and parking lot. The balcony was a long area connecting many rooms and of course right on that main road. Breakfast included scrambled eggs plus the salads , meats , cheeses and rolls. Coffee was very good. Location (aside from the traffic,) was excellent. You can pull up to the front door next to main entrance, unload luggage and zip up the elevator. When ready, do a u-turn and follow signs to parking. Be sure to get the 12 euro parking pass at checkin- good for up to 3days. It may be worthwhile to ask for a quiet room and forego the river view."

"The view of the castle from the castle view balcony room was fantastic. The owner was extremely welcoming and provided excellent service. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal. It’s about a 10 minute walk over a picturesque bride to the Main Street with restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend booking your stay here! "

"Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "

"Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters). "

"We spent Christmas at this lovely apartment in the Mosel Valley. It was clean, cosy, nicely decorated for Christmas, and bigger than it looked in the photos. We look forward to returning in the spring or summer to enjoy tiring the vineyards!"

"There is free parking across the street, but it is limited. The rooms were on the small side, but nice and clean, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and adequate. The breakfast was very good and the staff were an absolute joy."
