"The hotel is in the best location, Citta Alta. It could be a bit noisy, especially if you take a room with a view of the street. It is good to remember that when booking. The hotel is nicely maintained and clean, with free of charge water in the room and a good selection of food for breakfast. we enjoyed our stay."

"This hotel is only rated 2 star's, but we found it incredibly clean and comfortable. The location is at the corner of the main town square, so you couldn't beat it. It is extremely quiet and the breakfast is buffet style. We ate in the restaurant the first night and although it was more expensive than a lot of the other restaurants we ate in, the quality of the food and service was exceptional and worth the money. Service is at the core of this hotel. All the staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly. Special mention to the head barman Diego, The best cocktail maker and truly one of the nicest people you could meet. He is so passionate about not only cocktails, but Coffee! If you do decide to stay here, don't expect the Ritz, but DON'T expect 2 Star's either. Il Sole is so much more. We will be recommending it to all our friends and hopefully returning. Bergamo is one place that does live up to the hype."
