"The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Most descriptions were adequate and we found what we expected. Some problems with the water supply were promptly repaired after we informed the owner (Thanks to him - overcoming some language barriers!). The only aspect which was less ideal was the description of the way to get there. The description could be improved as we arrived late in the dark and therefore pathfinding was a bit confusing. It should be mentioned that the streets are not paved at...

"The views are truly incredible, and it’s nice that this is not in fact in Varenna, but a steep drive up in the village of Perledo. A car is needed. There are no good restaurants close by, and there is a basic grocery store walking distance. Not that difficult to manage to be honest. The wifi is like third world - basically unusable. The facilities are fairly basic. I’d give the place 5 stars if if it cost half the price. But at this price, it is a very expensive for what you get."

"What a great getaway from the bustling cities. This house is very roomy, very cozy, and has everything you could ever need when your away from home! Not use to having a concierge when booking VRBO rentals, but the hosts are very communicative, respond immediately, recommended wonderful local shops and restaurants, gave us accurate tips about the area and even booked reservations for us. They will even go out of their way if you are in need of assistance. The view... truly one of the best views...

From coordination of transportation to helping us with some logistics, we coukd not have asked for a better experience. Oh, and the views, breathtaking. "The property was very comfortable and fairly close to the downtown area. Nice to have a grocery store nearby. The patio area was charming and a great place to relax after lots of walking! The only two quirks that we had were trying to figure out the shower curtain so that it would function properly…we managed. The other area of concern was the musty downstairs bedroom area…My daughter couldn’t sleep downstairs because the smell was so overwhelming…again we managed. Overall, it was a delightful...
