"We had a great 3 days stay here in a ground floor with patio, close to the pool. We found it to be quite quiet even though it was over new years. The room was spacious, aircond, bed comfortable, with quite a large ensuite/Laundry. Particularly liked the sachets supplied for washing up and laundry. The only downer we found was the drain in the shower was quite gunked up therefore water could not get away fast enough. Good base to checkout 1770 and Agnes Waters. "The location is very good and it's very close to Agnes Water Beach. There are restaurants, groceries within walking distance maybe just 5 mins walk. The front desk staff are friendly and room is clean. It's a perfect place for holiday. The only not so positive thing is that I felt the bed was not them dry, not sure if it was caused by it's very near the beach."

"I really liked the layout, the location is great and property is wonderful with a pool, great sleeping layout and size. Very kind and polite manager. There were some general maintenance issues that do need attention however, such as flickering lights in bathroom, very dirty dishwasher that is no longer cleaning the dishes adequately, dirty freezer in one fridge and another fridge did not have a working freezer so need to be careful from a food safety perspective. An outdoor chair was fraying...

"Loved the fact that we could bring our dog. Owners were very welcoming and accommodating and even provided a little closed off area outside that connected to our unit so she could be inside or outside. Would definately stay again."

"This pub hotel is a great stop over for the family for the Mackay to Brisbane drive. Price was good, family room was huge, clean and felt like sleeping in a great big Queenslander. Female toilets and showers are refurbished and looking fresh. Pub directly downstairs provided a good meal with Pizza and huge pub meals available. The beer on tap was cold and the outdoor playground was loved by my kids. Stayed here twice now on our adventure to brisbane and back. Also a great coffee shop just down...

"The room was very clean. Only dust found was on the fluorescent bulbs behind bed. No bugs on ceiling or dirt found anywhere else. Bathroom updated and drains clean. Only place in Australia we stayed where drains were clean. There was a hook to hang towel for shower. The guest book was a great read we visited the restaurant across the street and tunnel. Bed was firm and pillows flat but got two. Staff was super friendly. This is the best place to stay in Gin Gin."

"Good: Good price, quiet, big room, comfy queen bed, 2 bedside tables and lights, big bathroom, very clean, private verandah, friendly service at the bar, good bar prices. Would stay again. Bad: very low water pressure in shower, media box in front of tv obstructing view - tv needs to raised up a bit, remote didn’t work, no microwave or toaster. No Reception - had to go in and bother the busy but friendly bar staff on arrival or with any issues and no-one there on departure to let know any...

"Booked a couples room but wasn't impressed when we opened the door. SUPER tiny room, we could barely open our luggage in the room. The walls weren't up all the way to the ceiling so we couldn't talk or look at something on our laptop without disturbing everyone else in the building. Our bed squeaked every time we moved, even just a tiny bit. Disturbed everyone! There was NO wifi. A plus was that we only had to share the bathroom with another couple. "What an amazing place this couple have. Peaceful and tranquil, if you want to get away from the world and people then this is the place to be. The shower in the open and the product are amazing like a day spa. The bed was welcoming and comfy in a cost little room. The fire pit, outdoor area was very peaceful. Apparently we were the only people to stay for 4night as most just stay for a night or 2. The lagoon I have to say is not like the picture in the way as it doesn’t look as big…..but I wish I went in sooner, it was yet another amazing part of this beautiful place. Was a great way to cool off. The owners never disturbed us once, unless we went looking for them they left us alone. Great family you guys have done well. Will return. "

Perfect for us.

"When my wife contracted Covid owners were very good and let us change our booking at no extra cost. It meant we couldn’t have the mentioned accommodation and we were in the Bali Retreat their other unit which was great. We were a little way from the beaches but there wasn’t much traffic and it was no problem at all. It meant we travelled past the local IGA supermarket which was ideal."
