"The Blarney Hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful and right beside Blarney Castle which was the main purpose of our visit. I was unwell at the time of visit and the front desk receptionist was very helpful with advice for a dr in the area and also offered to make some hot water with lemon and honey which I gratefully took her up on! The genuine service and care was lovely. The breakfast was fantastic! After traveling for almost 3 weeks and have several subpar hotel breakfasts this one really was amazing! We did eat at Christy's Grill which was next door, which was only OK, but location was admittedly convenient. Would have loved to stay longer, would definitely recommend. "

"Our favorite hotel of all four we stayed in during our trip! Very nice spacious room, with an amazing view of the harbor. Restaurant was excellent. The pub was excellent, with the best bartender I saw all week. Easy walk to other great restaurants and shopping. All staff super nice. Easy parking."

"We had a great one night stay at the glen quarter. The room is small but very well designed and sparkling clean. Centrally located in the heart of kinsale. Since we came off season we parked right behind the building. Two doors down from a perfect breakfast spot with delicious cappuccino. Highly recommend for a short stay. Keep in mind that parking could be a challenge during the peak season."
