"Check-in was a nightmare! The host needs to prepare a totally new plan to get the guest into the property. Arrangements need to be made upon reserving the property. The host claimed she had sent emails to us a few days before arrival, but we never received them. We were on a cruise to Europe and we never received emails she sent a few days before arrival. Hosts should make all the arrangements at booking and all the hassle can be avoided. Put keypad locks on the doors and give the guest the code...

Just note when checking out to keep your condo keys until you drive out of parkade. You need the fob to open the garage door. Then someone has to run up to leave them in the room. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material. Also disappointing not to be able to control the heating given the cold wet weather in mid March - it did feel a bit cold in the apartment at times. "
