There is an elevator that helped the older people and of course the children loved the ping pong table and pool. "Other than: the freezing pool (can’t use), need to change the laundry detergent (the towel smell wasn’t good) and the road in, All other aspects of our stay was absolutely perfect, the property and all other services was at expectations level and higher. We’ll definitely come back with friends."

"The manager, Vera, is superb. She was able to set up boat rides, Fado evening, restaurants, and a fabulous wine tasting, and was always helpful and wonderful. The pool is super, the house could use window screens and fans in every room, and the owner should make sure all closets are empty. The wine from the estate is fantastic."

The area is quiet and suburban but within 10 minute drive of lovely Atlantic beach with nice restaurants. You can get a taxi into Lisbon for not much more than €20. Supermarkets are within walking distance and the beach is a short drive away. There are also two large shopping malls 10-15 minutes' drive away. There is also a home improvement centre and a Decathlon. Lisbon city centre requires a bridge crossing, which takes about 30 minutes. We stayed in the house...
