"Very attentive staff, extremely welcoming and friendly. They are a credit to the pub. Food is excellent, as is the beer. Pub has a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Accommodation is a great size, well laid out with some nice touches, pack of cards, local magazines etc. And plug sockets near the mirror, so ladies can see what they are doing when drying their hair. The only thing that let it down for us was the bed. Mattress is tired and didn’t offer much support. Other than that this is a fantastic...

"Very welcoming & friendly staff, clean room & comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent with a choice of menu. My only concern was our window would Not stay open & we were very hot during the night although a fan was in the room could not sleep with it on, In the morning very little hot water pressure, this could be the someone else had the hot water running at the same time, these were very small negatives but would definitely stay here again "
