"Amazing stay in Les Coches. Apartment is right on the slope. Sadly snow conditions meant we could not ski out, but a small climb took us to a lift and we were on our way. "The apartment is very comfortable, warm and well equipped. The garage is huge! We were a couple. Four (adults plus kids) would be ok but more would struggle I think. Although the chalet that houses the apartment backs onto the Coches red piste, skiing from the property isn’t really feasible but skiing back is. It is a 2 minute walk to the piste. Beginners would struggle to negotiate the piste down to the Plan Bois chairlift but you can drive down to it. Les Coches is perfectly located to access...

"Great stay over New Year with superb snow conditions. Contact with owner enabled seamless entry. Sadly no WiFi which proved tricky for 2 professionals on a week away. Steps very steep to first floor kids room but they got the hang of it after a day. Amazing view from balcony. Would stay again."

"We were beautifully welcomed by the host in this gorgeous area of la plagne. The flat is nice and living room is great. Kitchen small but we did not cook. The only issue was apparently the manager who yelled at us for making a bbq in the garden. She really frightened the children. Otherwise would come to this area again anytime. "

"A lovely apartment overlooking the ski slopes with just a short walk into a traditional alpine village. Just perfect for the four of us and we were blessed with some of the best snow we’ve ever experienced. The town has a very easy access to both Les Arcs and La Plagne ski areas and in our opinion offers some of the best skiing aspects of the La Plagne ski area."

"Our family had a lovely stay at the apartment. It was well equipped and met all our needs. All our enquires were met promptly by Julian who kept us up to date with the check in process. Great location for the slopes, unfortunately couldn’t ski in and out as not enough snow. Would be happy to stay again."

The local shop is quite limited and very expensive but we used one of the local produce shops to buy pre-prepared home made dishes (such as Tartiflette, lasagna and quiche) which were delicious and more cost effective than the supermarket! "We were left stranded by the jost and VRBO. No contact from host prior to check-in. No apartment block with name given. Tried to contact host for help but no response. VRBO were also less than helpful. Ended up having to book more expensive hotel accommodation miles away incurring significant additional expense and wasting hours of our holiday."

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door!
