"I had stayed there 35 years ago. I was surprised the price was so low when I booked it when we arrived and saw that nothing had been maintained or updated since my last visit. It was so bad it was comical. I was chicken to go in the pool because it was so dark in that area at night & they had just had a two day event that resulted in obvious cleanliness issues. "The house worked perfectly for a weekend getaway for four old friends looking for a chance to relax and catch up. Great for hanging out, time by the fire pit, and meandering walks. We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working the weekend we were there but the owner was very responsive, getting two different technicians to come look at it and giving us a partial refund because it couldn’t be fixed in time. We’d love to come back in warmer weather and be able to take advantage of the water...
