"Such a shame that the outside and entrance to this flat is so dirty & grubby. The pile of dumped rubbish outside was not good either. The entrance & stairway is very grubby & smells damp. Needs a good clean & paint. The flat could be lovely if did not smell damp. Also you charge £30 extra for cleaning?? We had to Hoover behind the beds as cobwebs also false nails! We had to Hoover round windows as full of cobwebs & spiders. Could not use any units in bedroom as full up with bedding &/or were...

"the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "

"Just the perfect stay for our family! We loved the patio for the kids to play in and had a wonderful stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable. There's a great pub next door that serves Italian food and has a great yard and play structure for the kids. We also visited the Audley End House and Audley Miniature Railway and Fairy Walk while we were there and it was a perfect combination for a little getaway. We would definitely come back! "

"We stayed here for two nights. It was very clean and spacious. The only downside we had was the celling leaking due to a crack and people above us leaving the shower running which flooded. However, Fatima was absolutely fantastic and dealt with the incident quickly. Looking forward to staying there again soon. Would definitely recommend. "

"A lovely character apartment in a quaint village from which to explore the local region of North Essex. The well equipped and comfortable accommodation had nice touches such as displaying local art (for sale) and the host even left us welcome treats. While this property is in the heart of a small village and off road parking is available, some caution is needed while reversing out of the property gates onto the road with limited visibility. "

"We stayed at the cottage for the weekend. The property was really welcoming and spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen. Probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in with good quality bedding. A real joy to spend time here. Although we stayed at the beginning of October there is a lovely summerhouse and a nice garden area. The village is lovely with the church literally right on the doorstep."

"It is a nice cottage with enough space, modern furniture, good beds. Be prepared for quite some traffic noise from the busy road nearby. Limited possibility to sit outside. We stayed for two weeks and had a good time."

"We were very disappointed when we arrived at the property. It was in a poor state of repair with 2 of the electric heaters hanging off the wall. The toilet was dirty and there were stains on the floor. Walls and doors were damaged and filthy as were the blinds in the rooms. There was also a bag of dirty laundry outside the front door. There was no welcome pack or information about the area. Both bedside lamps did not have bulbs. The check in required photo ID to be sent which was not...
