"A lovely little studio space right on the street by a canal. (The door opens right onto the sidewalk if you’re not used to that) Awesome location for walking everywhere. Unless you’re used to the chaos of tiny roads with bikes, cars, and pedestrians going in every direction don’t even consider a car … The bathroom area is a tight space but great to have laundry. It is right on the street so if sleep is an issue bring a mask and ear plugs. Overall a good space for access to the city. "

The view of the canal from the front room is captivating and beautiful. Furnishings are basic, clean, and comfortable. The host, Jesse, was responsive, considerate, and kind. "Wonderful hosts. Helped find a Dr. when we showed up sick and it turned out to be a very quick and easy Dr. office to go to. Helped with bags and left lots of necessities in the fridge. got back to us really quickly with any questions. Lovely view of the canal. I always wanted to stay on a canal. Grocery stores and tram lines are close. Lovely and interesting city."

"We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. If we go back would use again. "

"The boat itself is great for a cozy stay. It’s nice and warm and in great condition. There are 4 single beds that are together to essentially create 2 doubles so it’s a bit cozy if you’re sharing with friends. The location is perfect as it’s just about a 10min walk from the free 24/7 ferry into the centre. Theres also plenty to see on the north side of the river. Would highly recommend this stay. "

The unit is smaller than it appears in the photos, and there is no access to the terrace that is seen in pics (at least from the small unit). "The July was absolutely lovely. I have OCD and will only stay where the place feels clean. The bathroom was spotless, the bed and bedding was clean (and comfortable - I slept like a baby) The staff were super friendly and gave us some really lovely restaurants to go and try (we’re foodies!!) and any bits missing from the room, they sorted in less than 5 minutes after calling the front desk. I could literally have stayed for another two weeks there to be honest and I’m hoping to come back asap...
