We had come to the area to see the swans that spend the winter in nearby ponds, and the Ramsey House is only 6 miles from the nearest “swan pond.” There is also a little cafe/ice cream shop right across the street from the house - - good food and VERY convenient! This was the perfect place for our “swan trip” and we will definitely be back. "

"This is an older house, well kept and clean and lots of sweet surprising amenities such as coffee beans in the freezer, coffee grinder, French Press, quite a lot of packaged food in the cupboard, which seemed to be there for our use if we had liked. They even had a sparking grape juice and candies sitting out for our enjoyment. "I stayed with my son and never really felt safe. The main problem is the doors to the house weren't covered properly. They just had a thin curtain that you could easily see through. Which also meant that all the loads from outside came in during the night. It was so bright. It was very difficult to sleep with so much light.
