"Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely"

"Amazing stay at this property with a family of 5 (3 teens) and our service dog. Everyone was extremely comfortable and please with the space. Not only that, but the landscaping is beautiful. Balcony was a perfect place to unwind after being out all day. Although a gas fire place outside would make this comfortable in the cold winter. Suggest posting WiFi password somewhere in the apartment and instructions on where to put the trash. Restaurant is a Michelin rated restaurant but was fully booked...

"We stayed for 5 days & enjoyed our stay in the Lake. We were in the top floor apartment which has a lot of stairs to climb, no lift. It is a little noisy as it’s right beside the main road so bring ear plugs as that made it better at night to sleep. The second room in the apartment is difficult to stand in as its ceiling is very low due to being an attic. "We stayed in Apartment 8 for 4 nights are were delighted with all aspects of it. There was plenty of room with both a sitting and dining area, a reasonable size bathroom and small but adequate kitchen with crockery, cutlery and pots, etc. The unit is close to the centre of town, the lake and the station. "This hotel was very expensive and highly overrated. The beds were uncomfortable. No amenities in the rooms. Towels were thin and worn and they only gave us 1 towel. We were looking forward to using the pool and sauna but never went nest it after seeing it."

Matteo the manager of the apartments is so knowledgeable and friendly that you can't help but be inspired to visit some the many varied and beautiful places he speaks of so passionately. Apartment is inexpensive and a great place to stay. It is simple and clean and has everything you need. It is good value for money. Parking on site is an asset too. We intend to go back next year. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this house, beautiful decorations and layout of a really comfortable house for the four of us to relaxing. A small pretty village to walk around, and it isn’t far to drive to good restaurants and bars. "Sehr schön. Sehr schöner Blick von der großen Terrasse auf den See, abends besonders schön, wenn die Lichter in Stresa oder auf der anderen Seite in Baveno leuchten. Der Strand ist nicht eit weg, vielleicht 15-20 min zu Fuß. Es ist abgeschlossenes Gelände. Das kann man auf einem zur Wohnung gehörigen überdachten Parkplatz abstellen. "I had a very pleasant experience staying at LUGANODANTE 2 years ago and looked forward to return there on this business trip. The room and bathroom were super clean, welcoming and comfortable with free coffee/tea, water and soft drinks in the minibar. There were ample outlets to connect my electronic devices. The buffet breakfast is copious and of high quality, using seasonal and sustainable ingredients. The reception staff is super friendly and helpful. One of the best part is the location, which is steps away from the funicular leading to the Lugano train station!"

"We booked a last minute stay at this hotel for New Years Eve. We booked two rooms, and both were upgraded to have a lake view, and the hotel was kind enough to give us connecting rooms since we were there with our two tween sons. The hotel was in a PERFECT - PERFECT location!! The rooms were comfortable and had balconies. We would have had a perfect spot to watch all of the NYE fireworks, if not for the fact that our sons wanted to be on the lakefront. :) I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Como!!!"
