"positiv: host is very kind view is exceptionnel (straight view of the mont ventoux) no direct neighbour quiet neighbourhood great pool 11m long House outside looks like on the pictures. negativ: more than 5min walk to get to the center of Vaison-la-Romaine beds are not very comfortable ( mattress maybe too old?) air conditioning is only one unit! Not enough to keep the temperature pleasant. Above all when there are 40+ degrees…even at 30+ the air conditioning had some problems to cool down....

"We chose this property after seeing it on a previous trip when we were enchanted by its age and location. It lived up to all expectations for us. We are two pretty fit senior citizens who were travelling with our 22 year old granddaughter. Paola, the property manager in the village, was amazing. It is an easy 15 minute drive to the Avignon TGV station. The village boulangerie is wonderful, and the small grocery had everything we needed."

"The house is absolutely lovely. It has virtually everything you need for a perfect stay. The owners could not be more helpful and responsive. Any little problems they were immediately on hand to help and advise. The area is gorgeous and the people ever so freindly. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was the lack of AC in the upstairs rooms. The owners supplied fans but If they had AC up there then 5 stars all round. The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."

"This property is very comfortable and has all the conveniences you would need . Well equipped . I have to say we did not find it walkable to the village of Gordes and we do a lot of walking. Its not far but it requires walking on the road close to traffic with lots of blind curves and fast drivers. Its a short drive but be aware that it costs 8eu every time you park there. The best places to park are the several parking lots at the top of the hill in the village."
