"This older home has a nice location and all of the basic amenities. There are not any frills, extras, or anything super memorable. The furniture was pretty old, but comfy enough. I was happy that they had ground coffee available, and my kids were thrilled that there was a collection of books on the shelves. "

"Our favorite part was the kitchen/living room. The windows overlooking the ocean are so large, giving you an unobstructed view. It was quite stormy during our stay so the fireplace was on which made it so cozy. This home has a washer and dryer on both floors and plenty of space to play games, sleep and hang out. Highly recommend this home. Owners were available when I had questions and quickly replied which added another level of comfort. Come play and stay at Roads End."

"I went with a mom friend for a couple days just to take a break. My friend decided last min to bring her pup and it was so easy to communicate with the owner, super easy to get in and out. The stairs up are something so be ready to get your steps in, and it’s literally a 2 min walk to the beach. Great view of the water. It was exactly what was needed."

"We stayed here with our kids and friends with their kid plus 2 dogs. The place was a great size and location to the beach although we mostly drove vs. walking. It could definitely use some updates and there were some dings and dents throughout the house but with the price range, it made sense. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but the oven should be replaced soon. There were also a few things here and there like the can opener didn't work and the frying pans were flaking teflon. "Others have described the specialties of this property, but we spent a night and day in a February wind/rain/snow storm and never worried about the house, with the exception of one leaky window which the management company promised to fix after we left. There was never a problem keeping warm.We especially enjoyed how ingenious and convenient the lighting is! Red-winged Blackbirds serenade from bushes in the yard morning and evening, but the windows are so insulated that their chorus is not loud...

"Our preschool staff retreat was the best! The house was perfect for 10 of us and it was well stocked and had everything we needed! The views were beautiful, walk to the beach was short and the house was very clean and cute! I would stay here again any time!"

"My boyfriend, pup and I had SO much fun staying at this cute beach house. The dog loved the having a large fenced in yard to play in. With a 5 minute walk to the beach and short car ride to Oceanside and Tillamook, this location couldn’t have been any better for us. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace while playing the offered board games. The hot tub made for a great experience after the chilly beach trips. "Property is located right across the street from beach which includes great access for clamming, walking the beach, running the dogs, kayaking and building a bonfire. The street is a dead-end and majority of the homes appeared to be other rentals. One surprise for us was that there are two flights of stairs on this property and no bathroom on the main level - which meant a lot of up and down. Great if you are up for the glute work out and increased heartrate but might not be the best option...

"Positive…. The view is amazing from both floors/ decks!!! Very nice kitchen, made cooking our meals and my wife baking cookies awesome, bed was comfy, proximity to the beaches excellent, house was cleaned to expectation…. Negative no cable television, internet did not work Vacasa did have a free version that we were able to use….. overall we had a really nice stay!"
