"Everything OK on the basis that this is a budget villa. Could do with some TLC. Local host Chadien very helpful. Location good as only 5 min walk to beach and restaurants. Neighbourhood not great as quite noisy neighbours and plenty of barking dogs clearly not something the host can control."

"Wir waren zu zweit mit 10 Übernachtungen in diesem Ferienhaus. Das haus liegt sehr nahe am Strand, es gibt paar recht gute Restaurants in der nähe und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß). Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig, und hat so weit alles, was man so für eine Urlaub braucht. Bettwäsche und Badetücher waren frisch gewaschen. "Beautiful spacious villa, we were well looked after by the lovely housekeeper. Easy access to beach where you could walk along to Cap Malhereux for coffee at Helena’s ( definitely recommended) . We tried many local restaurants, a hire car is a must."

"We just cannot rate this property highly enough. Absolutely fantastic stay. From initial contact to the sad time we said goodbye communication has been excellent. The property is spacious and clean, it has everything you need. The pool is very private and welcoming after a day out exploring. The villa is in a quiet residential area, you do need a car though to explore. Two short roads to the public beach and lovely little corner shop. The residential cat and her kittens were a delight. "Very roomy and adequate kitchen. The bedrooms were air conditioned, a must. It was lovely to have a garden and small pool. We had a housekeeper who came in to tidy absolute luxury. The garden opened onto a beach the only problem for me was as I love to swim and snorkel one the lagoon was very shallow and all the fish anyway are taken by fisherman.shopping was very good nearby but restaurants were few and far between. In all we had six glorious weeks and could have stayed longer."

"The overall rating is 3 stars, on account of the outstanding location to one of the island's nicest beach areas and exemplary service from the host who is simply outstanding. However the small details added up and so many of them were missing that it dropped to a 3. Had these been there, it would have been a 4 rating for sure, but it will never achieve 5 star status until there is air con in the main living room area. "Great apartment. Very quiet. Well maintained. Very helpful host. Regular cleaning. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk to the beach/town but they do offer a shuttle if you need it. We had a hire car so it wasn’t really a problem. "

Beautiful Mauritius

"Beautiful report. Stunning backdrop with mountain in background as you’re by the pool or beach. Everything was almost perfect. The almost is the service.. although it’s done with a smile and very warm.. it was a bit slow. We sometimes had to repeat orders. So 9/10. Would definitely visit again. "

"Definitely a top hotel. Few comments. To give extra information for future guests about small downsides. No hot drinks at lunch and dinner. (It is possible in the various bars), breakfast we found open late 07h30. And yet quite a bit of construction debris (concrete blocks) on the beach and sunbed)"
