"A beautiful complex, in a truly stunning area of the Basque Country. The staff are great. Maria Vitorica spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Grounds are pristine - wonderful views of the ocean and hills; beautiful gardens; great exercise/obstacle course; tennis court and the pool is even better than the photos! The complex even has a security guard. The apartment unfortunately tarnished our experience. We were unlucky to get a mid-ground floor apartment which slept a max of 5. We were...

"Bed linen and towels were very old and need replacing. Had to make the beds ourselves and were instructed to un make and fold all linen and towels when leaving. Pillows were old saggy cushions. Only 1 roll of toilet paper supplied for 4 days stay in an apartment that takes 5 people. Told to buy our own toilet paper. Not very convenient as approx 1k out of town. All in all not comfortable and poor value for money. "

"This hotel has perfected the art of service. From the moment we stepped out of our car until three days later when we left, every single interaction with staff was impeccable. I was more often than not addressed by my name (how do they keep track?!), and the balance they have struck between formal and welcoming is truly amazing.
