Pointed out any Grocery stores and Supermarkets incase I needed to go food shopping as well.The apartment is a 10-15min drive to the city so you are close enough to see the sights but removed enough that you can actually get some rest (when you can). "Nice pool area and view of the ocean from the best patio I've ever had in the DR. If you like being close to shopping, a good pool area with also an ocean view from your balcony this is the best deal I've seen in about a dozen trips to The Republic. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and Domenico and his wife are always very responsive to any questions or problems.
