"We really loved our stay here! My friend and I wanted to be around sheep during our NZ adventure, and this was perfect for us. It was fun to meet the animals and get to feed them. The fresh eggs were delicious! The location is excellent- you get a peaceful farm setting yet only about 10 minutes from the beaches and restaurants of Papamoa. The walks at the cultural park next door are great. (Although the 113 steps about killed us lol)The pod setup is unique and fun. Separate pods for the bathroom...

"Such a gorgeous property - very peaceful and Gordon had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely setting and perfect for our wedding event just along the road. Highly recommended property with a delightful host and we also enjoyed meeting the sweet Dakota GSP! "

"This is a treasure of a find! The thoughtful & environmentally-sensitive construction of The Shed made for a delightful stay! The bed is very comfortable - and the outside tub a delight. Highly recommend travelling with bikes, if you can, to take advantage of the short-cut into town, or to run out for groceries. LOVED IT!"

"Awesome location very close to dining, shops and even closer to the beach. The rooms are a bit tired and, yes, the other reviewers comments about those beds, are true. They are definitely not what you will find at your usual Hilton or Quest Hotel. The curtains are a tad sad and the rooms are decorated the same way they were when I last stayed ten years ago.
