"Not private! We booked this property because it said “you’ll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.” We immediately left after discovering that it is just a couple rooms in a man’s house and he would be there the entire time. Such a waste of money. "

"Lake Forest is a large community near Daphne,Al that almost has it all(no beach) 😂 However it has a golf course,horse riding stables,a number of community pools and a busy community center. Lots to see and do. We were able to rent a nice 3 bedroom , 2 bath home in the community. There were a couple of minor issues that have been addressed with the owner,but overall,a great base of operations for someone want to experience the Gulf Coast."

"The house was clean, comfortable, and I appreciated the fenced backyard for my dog. The reason for 4 stars overall is that it was very lacking in basic staples like plastic wrap, dish soap, and a few spices. There wasn't even salt & pepper! In all of the 20+ vacation rentals I've stayed in, the hosts understood that visitors don't want to stock all of the basics when only a small amount is needed for the stay. Normally we see what is there, then shop for the few things needed, like laundry soap...
