"Our stay was ruined, and we cut it short (taking a $400 loss as a result), because we were not warned that the "Rod Run to the End of the Earth" event was taking place in Long Beach on Sep 6-8. The noise and the stink and the traffic (and the puerile attitudes of some of the hot-rodders) combined to make it a real hell on earth. "
