"We really enjoyed our stay, stumbled across the place whilst searching for a local area to stay. Rooms were beautiful, shower was amazing, food delicious, good selection of drinks. Breakfast was cooked to our liking. The only downside was not enough plug sockets in the room to charge phones/tablets etc but this was a minor thing. We loved the place and are looking to go again. "

"Great gem of a place , friendly helpful staff who certainly make you feel at home . Thoughtful touches .. such as torches for evening walks - no street lights . In the room good choice of teas, coffee and chocolate.. coming upto Christmas nice nice pies as well"

"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"They were extremely helpful nothing was to much trouble, we met are friends there for food which was out of this world the service was brilliant. We stayed the night, The rooms were very clean everything u needed was in there. Very warm, and comfortable the shower was good size.. will be going there again. the staff were so helpful made everyone welcome.. the breakfast was amazing lots to choose from before having your full English, the service was second to non.. every where was clean, very...

" Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. "

"Have stayed before so knew what to expect. The owners are very easy to get on with plus very polite and friendly. Best part of the stay is the English breakfast which is superb all of the trimmings. The breakfast is worth 5 stars alone."
