"Everything was good and well and we checked in early but we left our luggage with the concierge and went for shopping. The hotel reception was very friendly and helpful. They called and updated our room was ready and helped us to keep our luggage in the room. It’s a very nice hotel but one thing to improve on the quality of their breakfast & more options available. Will surely return again when we comes to Penang "

"Sound proofing of room not very good, can hear sound of firecrackers and traffics at night during week of Deepavali. Room is clean and spacious, there is also water dispenser on every floor. Lots of dinning and grocery options available nearby."

"I actually want to give 0 stars for this since we never got a chance to stay despite already paying! We booked this so-called luxury house for a wedding party in town but the host never gave check in details and never replied any messages even after check in time has passed. I had to book a different accommodation at the last minute and until now have not heard back about my refund. The VRBO customer service was trying to be helpful but they clearly have very poor policies that favor the host since they couldn’t help at all and could not even guarantee a refund after failing to reach the host as well. My first time booking with VRBO so I am quite traumatised from this experience."

"Booked this place for my dad and his friends and they totally loved it! Morning market, great hawker food, streets stalls just around the corner great for earlybird like them. Few landmarks within 10mins drive, town area in just 20mins. Hotel building may looked small but dont be fool by it! Room was spacious, clean environments no less than 5stars hotel. Service was great too. Highly recommended of you are here to penang. "

"Unresponsive host. We tried to get check-in details the day before (Christmas Eve) but the host refused to answer despite us knowing he was getting our messages and calls. I had to get in touch with Stayz three times which was a nightmare as well because we got cut off a few times but they could not be bothered to call back so I had to call and start the chat all over again, they said things like the host normally gives instructions on the day itself, they've tried contacting the host themselves but there's been no response. On Christmas morning, the host only started responding at 11am whilst I was on the chat with Stayz and told me the place was not available due to a short circuit. Thankfully, I did not have to check out at 11am at my current place like most places require. I was already beginning to panic as it was Christmas, and I had booked the bungalow for 15 of my family members arriving from all over. It was most stressful. After much complaint, the host offered another bungalow for the first two nights of our booking and then a different one for the last night of our booking (we had booked three nights for the one bungalow). I took the offer. The Tg Tokong place we first went to was not clean, it stank, there was no toilet paper in some toilets and the bath mats were wet. There were no duvet covers and the duvets are obviously not washed. The floors were oily and grimy. There were plates/cutlery for 7 people. We were 15. It was a nightmare. I was tired"
