"The cottage was very well maintained and clean, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could need for cooking/bbqing. The deck outside was massive and we thought the pictures in the listing actually undersold how nice the it was. There were numerous Muskoka and other comfortable lounge chairs, multiple large sun umbrellas and a shaded area under a large tree with a hammock. Others mentioned it being somewhat warm in the upper bedrooms, but there are A/C units in those...

"We had such an enjoyable time. The quiet, the surrounding greenery and nearness to Picton made this so rewarding. Apologies about the fee for the dog. We thought that was included in the fee but no problem when notified that we had to pay that directly to the owner and not by Vrbo."

"Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag."

"Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. Games room was enjoyed by the younger boys/young men. Mo was excellent in communicating with us, before and during our stay....
