Cottage in Neufmoulin with sea beach

This provincial cottage in Wicourt has 3 bedrooms, which is ideal for families on vacation. For reasons of tranquility, this home is not rented to a group of youngsters. With the capacity to host 6 guests, this accommodation also has a lovely terrace to enjoy panoramic views.

The cottage is only 100 m away from the dense forest, perfect for tracing nature trails and hiking. The town center (5 km) is also mapped with several shops and restaurants. Even the historic town of Bastogne (18 km), also known for the 'Battle of the Ardennes', is a short drive away.

The beautiful garden doors of the cottage opens to a cozy living room, which is decorated with a sofa and a digital TV. You can enjoy cozy cooking sessions in the open kitchen or play a game of table tennis at home. The terrace allows for enjoying peaceful barbecues also. The host also provides a cot and a high chair and allows 2 of your furry pet friends at a small fee.

Please specify the number of couples, the organization of your group to the owner for a better preparation of your stay.

Note: For your information, the bedrooms have 1 double bed and 4 single beds equipped with pillows and duvets.
Guests can bring their own bed linen. If you bring sleeping bags, a mattress cover and pillowcase are mandatory.

Dogs are welcome in our gîte. However, they are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the sofas (2 x 2 to 3 people) in the lounge. To protect the latter, it is necessary to provide protection (plaids/covers).

Voor wie van rust, stilte en mooie natuur wil genieten, is dit huis een regelrechte aanrader. Wandelingen, stromende rivieren, vele reigers in de vijver tegenover het huis, geen licht-en luchtverontreiniging rondom. Heerlijke haard. Een niet doorgezeten bank, een leeslamp en een fauteuil bij de tuindeuren zouden dit huis verder ten goede komen. Maar; daarom niet getreurd. Mooie prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. We hebben genoten.

Het huisje ligt op een prachtige plek. Het is ruim en licht en schoon. Meubilair ( beide banken) zijn aan vervanging toe en het matras op het 2 persoonsbed ook. Verder is het hier goed vertoeven en zijn alle mooie plekken in de omgeving goed bereikbaar.

Wat een mooie plek! Heerlijke rust en een prachtig uitzicht op het dal en de koeien. We hebben genoten van de tuin en de boom die schaduw gaf. Helaas konden we niet buiten eten vanwege de grote hoeveelheid vliegen die er dan ook van mee wilden eten. Maar ja, dat hoort bij een boerderij in de zomer. Het huisje was heerlijk schoon en de eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk. De bedden sliepen goed, wij vonden wel het bed in de masterbedroom erg smal (140 cm) en ook wat aan de zachte kant. Het uitzicht uit het raam maakte dat weer helemaal goed. Kortom een aanrader!

Vooral de locatie is erg goed. Als je van rust houdt en graag wandelt of fietst is dit een ideaal verblijf. Wij waren hier in de herfst, niet zo’n mooi weer, maar hebben met onze 2 honden heerlijk gewandeld. Het huis is geschikt voor max. 4 personen. Laat je niet misleiden door de foto’s genomen met groothoeklens. Er is 1 badkamer. De tweede douche staat in een berghok. Wij werden ontvangen door de eigenares die snel de waarborg wou ontvangen, de formaliteiten vervulde en verdween. Tot de voorlaatste dag hebben we niemand meer gezien. Wij vinden dat oké maar van die hartelijkheid in andere commentaren hebben we niets gemerkt. Op de website van Belvilla staat dat de eindschoonmaak is inbegrepen. Maar wanneer je aankomt moet je 250€ waarborg én 50€ schoonmaak betalen. Ook 8 blokken hout voor 3€ vinden wij nogal veel, als je de houtkachel gebruikt om bij te verwarmen. Het huis was schoon, functioneel ingericht, het bed oké. Het is vooral de omgeving waar we willen voor terugkomen

Prima huis op een rustige locatie bij een boerderij en van alle gemakken voorzien. De koeien lopen voor de deur. Wij waren er een kleine drie weken met een baby en een hond. Met de kleine meid in de wagen was het uitstekend wandelen over de glooiende geasfalteerde paden. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijke mensen.

Rustige locatie in de Ardennen
zeer goede locatie in de Ardennen. Met de auto ben je vlot in Houffalize of andere locaties. Eigenlijk zijn er maar 2 kamers : 1 met 4 bedden (duplex) en 1 met een dubbel bed.

Mooie vrijstaande vakantiewoning met veel rust en privacy in het plaatsje Neufmoulin. Met een prachtig uitzicht over het glooiende landschap. Er mag gebruik gemaakt worden van de schuur naast de woning voor het stallen van fietsen. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. De eigenaresse spreekt goed Nederlands. De eigenaren hebben een boerderij, maar daar merk je weinig van. Wel leuk om elke dag even een kijkje te nemen in de koeienstal! Ideaal voor 4 volwassenen of voor 2 volwassenen met 2 tot 4 kinderen. De woning heeft een eigen toegangsweg en entree. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. Heeft horgaas voor alle ramen, radiatoren in alle kamers en beschikt zelfs over een wasmachine! In de tuin staat een grote boom die zorgt voor een aangename schaduw tijdens warme dagen, een BBQ en twee extra ligstoelen. Onder een overkapping staat een tafeltennistafel die gebruikt mag worden (zelf batjes meenemen). Voor de dagelijkse boodschappen rijdt je in 10 minuten naar Houffalize. Grotere supermarkten zijn op slechts 15 minuten rijden in Bastogne: Delhaize, Carrefour of Colruyt. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor tripjes in de omgeving: Plopsaland en waterval in Coo, grotten van Han en veel bezienswaardigheden omtrent de Slag om de Ardennen, zoals museum met monument in Bastogne en de Bastogne Barracks. Goedkoop tanken en een groot winkelcentrum in Pommerloch, Luxemburg. Fiets- en wandelroutes in de directe nabijheid. Mountainbike routes gaan er zelfs langs. Houdt wel rekening met kosten achteraf voor gebruik elektra, water en vuilnis, maar is vergelijkbaar met eigen gebruik thuis. Hier komen we zeker nog een keer terug!

Na een uiterst vriendelijk ontvangst en korte uitleg begon ons winters verblijf ...
Na een uiterst vriendelijk ontvangst en korte uitleg begon ons winters verblijf in deze Gite (31-01/07-02). In deze Gite was alles keurig schoon en netjes + alles wat we nodig hadden was binnen aanwezig. De Gite (met een eigen opgang en parkeerplaats, makkelijk voor het laden/lossen) ligt vrij van de boerderij van de eigenaren en geeft daarom genoeg privacy. De omgeving is prachtig, met mooie vergezichten en genoeg wandelgelegenheid naast de deur. Alle gebouwen op het terrein van >200 jaren oud stralen rust uit maar de bedrijvigheid van eeuwen noeste arbeid voel je er nog steeds ronddwalen. Ook onze Duitse Herder genoot aanzienlijk door de vrijheid die ze had. Wij hebben door alles een heerlijke week onthaasting gehad en wij zullen zeker naar deze mooie en vriendelijke plek terugkomen. Alles krijgt van ons een dikke voldoende.
