"This small secluded cabin was the perfect location for a family weekend with the pups. The property was scrupulously clean & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking the property, playing the games, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We experienced some unprecedented difficulties due to a major hurricane striking the area during our stay, and both the property manager and the owner were a class act. I could not recommend this property more. "

"Besides the historic charm, this quiet rental has a cozy gas fireplace, fluffy linens in a luxury bathroom, and even boutique beanery K-cups on hand. So much better than a hotel sitting on the interstate, yet a very short drive for a pause along our journey. We took advantage of the kitchen to enjoy the romantic dinner & easy breakfast we brought from home."

"We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the stream outside. It was a short and easy drive to Blacksburg, where we attended a football game. We spent several days hiking in the area. The host was gracious and extremely responsive throughout our stay."

Warm and cozy with comfy beds and all the amenities you need- full kitchen, spacious bath and electric fireplaces and TV’s in all rooms. Charming finishes and decor. Cheryl was a dream to work with! "Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

"You can’t get a better location if you want to ride Pocahontas! The trail head is directly behind the property. This house can accommodate a big group, has indoor and outdoor seating, awesome parking, a fire pit for relaxing, a grill to barbecue and a washer/dryer to get your riding clothes ready for the next day.
