"A most enjoyable stay at a very well presented residence set in a very peaceful and tranquil location. Unfortunately use of the pool was limited due to the frequent thunderstorms but the host can't be held accountable for that. Access to a vehicle is essential in order to venture out to the surrounding areas. One small suggestion is to provide guests with a list of suggested activities and restaurants in the area and places of interest worth visiting. How to use a halogen hob and even where to...

"En pleine période de canicule, nous avons pu profiter de la fraîcheur à l'intérieur du gîte et à l'extérieur de la grande piscine et de la terrasse avec ses nombreux fauteuils, et bains de soleil au milieu des montagnes cévenoles. Le lieu permet de recevoir de nombreux amis (grande table, vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine adéquates). Les hôtes sont très discrets mais disponibles en cas de besoin. "Vacances très agréables en dehors du gite. Pas assez de précisions sur l annonce concernant l accès au gîte qui est très dangereux à cause des escaliers. Gîte fait seulement pour les personnes très en forme."

"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"This was a 1900 hotel with heaps of character. It had on-site parking, a restaurant which was full the first night so had to go elsewhere and very limited options. Was a basic room with a hand held shower over the bath. Enjoyed our short stay in the Parc setting allowing us to enjoy the surrounding area."

"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. The house has a well equipped kitchen, good lighting, a comfy sofa for evenings and a very good bed. The porch offers a fine view of the river and canyon and is great for eating out. Clare and Alex have worked hard to make this a five-star experience, and we appreciate their hospitality."
