"Lovely welcoming feel. Having stayed there a few times now, certainly some bedrooms are decidedly better than others in same category. Breakfast could be a bit more varied, but does the job. Evening meals are good. Fresh milk in the bedroom fridge which is a welcome change to those awful longlife little plastic pots you usually get. Comfortable bar and seating areas."

"I booked 3 rooms for a group of us attending a funeral in Southampton. This hotel was available and convenient for the service and wake. Couldn't fault the hotel. A beautiful old building set in picturesque grounds. Big room too"

"Very good Hotel. Check in was excellent, the lady on the desk extremely helpful. Beautiful champagne bar and everywhere was in good condition. The room was spacious, the bed enormous and the shower and bath brand new. Staff in the bar and elsewhere were excellent."

"We visited for our youngests daughters 5th birthdya trip to Legoland. The hotel was brilliant in location and the staff couldn't have been more lovely/helpful the entire stay. I emailed the night before our visit to ask if they might be abke to pop a birthday message in the room. They went abjve and beyond and blew up balloons and wrote a birthday card and laid out chocolates on the bed on a smiky face shape. So kind! Sana at breakfast and in the restaraunt was particularly lovely and caring/helpful. As were the reception ladies giving the children activities to do and the prize was HI money to hand over at the bad for some sweeties. Everyone at the hotel were wonderful. The only exception being a male bar man who was rude and unhelpful but when another staff memeber noticed, she continued the amazing level of customer service and kindness on his behlaf. Wonderful hotel. Shout out to Sana! Lovely stay! Thank you! :D "
