"The rooms are in an annexe to the pub. 24 hour access to the rooms with a key to that areas. Stairs are quite steep but there's not too many of them. The room was spacious and with central heating that worked. Also there was a small mobile heater and a fan. Only issue was the shower was small and the temperature of the water was impossible to get right. The English Breakfast tasted good, made to order, though the sausage was small. The service was very pleasant. All in all a good value stay and...

"Quiet and dark room.Nice big bath Comfy bed. Unfortunately the bar side was closed that week so couldnt get food or drink."

"Excellent value, clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and cosy and the freshly prepared food was fabulous. We had an evening meal and breakfast, which were both excellent. We would definitely stay again. "

"The room was good except that it was very cold, the radiator was turned up high but the room never got warm. The duvet was only Summer weight so we had to use a towel and our coats to try and keep warm. Breakfast was continental and good, but a full English would have been preferred after a cold night! The ladies who served breakfast were lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. "

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "
