"If you want peace and tranquillity this is for you! The wildlife was just fantastic, watching the swifts give such a display by the pool, and a very close display of kites and buzzards as the farmer was cutting the grass - just incredible. Most mornings we saw the dear/s in the lower fields. And of course the little bat that decided he would sleep under the wooden terrace during the day. "We throughly enjoyed staying here. Derek and Bea were exceptional in their attention to their guests - nothing was too much trouble. A week is enough in our view as there is not a huge amount happening locally although trips to Bayonne, Biarritz and the Pyrenees are a good option. St Sever is a nice little town close by. Overall a very nice stay."
