The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you might need & a lovely private garden to enjoy the summer evenings. Communication with Tracy was excellent. She made sure we had everything we needed and provided some brilliant personalised recommendations for things to do/happening in the local area. "The Stables is a charming and spacious property. We were thrilled to find it beautifully decorated for Christmas and an amazing basket of goodies/treats that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were disappointed to find many of the light bulbs burned out or nonfunctional, leaving no lighting in the main hallway. Heating such an old home is always challenging, so not surprising to find the first floor very cold and the upstairs quite warm. The pillows and mattresses throughout the house left much...

Lovely touches including automatic night lights, Christmas decorated tree outside (definitely going to steal this idea), very generous welcome pack. Fabulous shower and comfy bed. Lovely walks on the doorstep and a great local cafe for brunch. We could keep going with the positives! Alistair and Julie were very attentive and lovely hosts. Highly recommended. "

"I stay in Cambs often and like this hotel as the studio rooms allow me to be more flexible. The room is clean on arrival, with lovely linen and a comfy bed. That said I have noticed maintenance issues across several rooms with bathroom sinks that do not drain and heating (or lack there of) and appliances not working. "

"Great spot and rooms and well kept. We could hear people walking above our room and the carpet is not conducive for luggage. Staff are incredibly friwndly and helpful. "
